Taking skydiving off grid.
Most skydiving happens in the same place, on the same schedule, off the same aircraft. MyDive starts from a different question: where do you actually want to jump?
Answering it is the work — the ground, the airspace, the permissions, getting an aircraft over it.
Because the jump should feel like yours. Not another load. Not another lap around the same pattern. Somewhere you picked, on a day you’ll remember.
MyDive is built and run by the people doing the flying, the jumping and the operational work — skydiving, aviation, operations, design and business, all from inside the community it’s built for.

Founder · Pilot · Skydiver
Ryan MacDougall founded MyDive, and he flies for it. He is both a skydiver and a pilot, which is the reason the company can work the way it does — the person planning a jump is the same person who has to fly it.
Most of what makes a MyDive operation possible happens long before anyone climbs into the aircraft. Ryan handles the aircraft planning and positioning, evaluates landing areas, works out access to the ground, and builds the logistics that turn a place someone wants to jump into a jump that can actually be flown.
A lot of it comes down to relationships. Landowners, operators and the people who know a given piece of country decide whether an idea is workable, and those conversations are Ryan’s. It is slow, unglamorous work, and it is what separates a good idea from a real operation.
When you talk to MyDive about an idea, you are talking to him.
Ground Operations · Coach · Packer
Ben leads ground operations for MyDive. Before a load goes up he is the one reading the landing area — conditions, access, and whether the ground is genuinely safe to put people on. After it, he is the one making sure everybody gets back.
He is an experienced skydiver, coach and packer, which is why the ground side runs the way it does. Knowing the jump from the inside is what lets him plan for it from the outside.
He has been doing it since the first retreat. When MyDive started putting jumpers into places that were not dropzones, Ben was the one on the ground making sure those places worked.

Brand · Design · Coach
Mike came to MyDive as a skydiver who believed in what Ryan was building and wanted to help make it bigger. He is the founder of Sky God Apparel, and his background is in building businesses, brands and the things that connect people to them.
At MyDive he works alongside Ryan on the brand, the website, marketing and the customer experience — helping turn unconventional jump ideas into something people can find, understand and actually become part of.
For Mike the connection is personal. He isn’t building MyDive from the outside looking in — he’s a skydiver himself, part of the community it was created for, and involved because he believes skydiving can be more than the same jumps in the same places.
