Three days in the Utah desert, jumping terrain most people only ever drive past. You sleep at an off-grid glamping camp under the red rock, the Red Rocket flies scheduled loads out of Monticello, and when conditions line up we stay out for night jumps.

We’re based out of the glamping property for the retreat, with the Red Rocket working out of Monticello Airport ten miles away. MyDive runs the ground transport between the two, so a load means riding out, gearing up, climbing out over the canyon country, and jumping back into camp.
Expect multiple jump opportunities, time on the ground between loads, meals back at camp, and a few days built entirely around being out there together and flying as much as conditions allow.
There’s no per-jump price. Once the operation is running, the goal is to keep the airplane moving and give everyone as many opportunities to jump as the day allows.
May brings longer days and warmer nights than our October trip.
The Canyonlands retreat is $2,000. A $1,000 nonrefundable deposit reserves your spot, with the remaining balance due three days before the retreat after we have a clearer weather outlook.
Unlimited jumps during scheduled MyDive operations. There is no per-jump charge once you're there. Actual jump numbers depend on weather, daylight, aircraft operations and other conditions.
The Red Rocket flies out of Monticello Airport, about ten miles from camp, and MyDive runs the ground transport between the two. You land back at the camp, which sits on open desert with clear outs in every direction.
Yes. Glamping accommodations are included, and the camp has nine different unit types — bell tents, safari tents, a casita, a cedar pod and a glass-domed barrel among them.
The $1,000 deposit secures your place and allows us to commit to lodging, aircraft and the other costs that go into putting the retreat together. The deposit is nonrefundable, but it can be transferred before the final balance is due.
The remaining balance isn't due until three days before the retreat, when we have a much better weather picture. If plans have to change after costs have already been committed, any refund of the remaining balance depends on those committed expenses and whether your spot can be filled.
